Neither beast, nor men, in fact.  And if there are any left over (NOT leftovers) after Justiniel's done, I'm still interested in more Beastmen too. |

Rough riders, hmmmm, should have some of the Attilans left and maybe a few of the grey guard ones, will do some rummaging in the boxes over the weekend. Ideally would like to get about 30 beasties but even just a couple of stands worth is a good start, Thanks. |

What numbers were Beastmen fielded in previous additions? How are people fielding them as proxies in Epic A lists? I have 40 beastmen flying over from the states as we speak. That would give me a grand total of 8 stands worth- however 5 are on old sqaure bases and 3 on new long bases. What would I have to do to get them as tourney legal "counts as" unit? Cheers James |

I suppose it'll depend on what army they are being included in, for Steel Legion a full infantry company of 12, for Baran's 9 etc, otherwise count as ogryns or something. Like Vanvlak is using squats for catachan list. Somehow I doubt they're going to find a place in an Imperial army officially.  |

According to the 'serves as' list in the EA book, Imperial Beastmen can be used as IG troops. I'd prefer to use them as something special, though - stormtroopers, for example, with Minotaurs instead of Ogryns, for a flavoured support of your normal IG.  Another option would be IG Beastmen as IG troops; Chaos beastmen as Stormtroopers; and Minotaurs as Ogryns. And if you could get Gorgons as transports of the Minotaurs, as a special touch, you'd have an army with a unique flavour. Don't forget to add Beastmen crews to your Leman Russ too. And.... and... Tzeentch Hula Dancers? .....time..for...medication....
