Its certainly very impressive. They actually look vaguely familiar, but then again they do look almost good enough to be official ones...
?300 is a hefty starting bid tho'. If that sells I'd be half tempted to have a go at making one myself

Must have taken a looooong time to gather that many androids, looks really good though. I'd be tempted to create my own too (even though I'm no fan of Necrons) ?300 smackaroos, wow.

I always find it sad when someone makes so much effort to make such an army and then sells it. I do not question his/her decision to do so, assuming that reasons for doing so exist. But it's still sad. ?

Hi,
I think these belong to a guy from the SG forums. Not sure who, but that's where I remember seeing them posted.
I've always thought it better to get a heap of Orks, drybrush them boltgun metal and add green to the guns to make proxy Necrons. They've got the right pose and are more readily available than the old androids. Maybe I'll do it myself one day if I fancy playtesting them.

I think this army will fall victim to "sniping" bids at the very last minute. I'm pretty sure there will be buyers crazy enough but none of them are willing to pay a penny more that what is allready demanded. So, they wait to the last minute hoping that none will outbid them and thus avoiding bid wars which will increase the cost further.
It is a really nice army. The Necron Pylons are paarticularly impressive. If they were half of what is being asked I might have a go but my interest isn't deeper than I'll let it pass aat the current price.

It is fun to look at, but at that opening bid, I could own quite a nice army of real figures and pay to have them painted. I'll wait.

At starting price I was tempted. However I could n't justify going above that as Necrons have never been an army I have played, in any gaming system. However an army that good was never going to by without serious bidding, so there was no point in me poutting even an initial minimum bid on.
Good luck to whoever snaffles the army- it will look great on the tabletop.
