Hi folks,

I'm searching for old Epic flying stands, with the hex-shaped base. In fact, I'm only insterested in the base.

I have plenty of current flying stands (with flat round base) available for trade, should you need replacements. If you want to sell them, please make an offer.

I'm searching around 20+ of them, but will gladly take any quantity available. PM or mail me if you are interested. ?:)

GZG do them in black plastic, if you are going to paint the hex anyway.

Unfortunately, it won't fit: I plan to use them for a game where I'll need to put counters under the stand.

Too bad, but I've already bid on the auction (at $0.99, I can manage...) If it escapes me, I'll contact you.

On the other hand, if you are *willing* to swap with your hex bases for round ones, it'll be okay for me and we can trade those bases no matter what happens on eBay.

What? WHAT? You want me to reveal my secret plan for world global domination, so near to fruition that the only ingredient I still miss is a bunch of those flying stands?! ?:angry:

The reason I'd like those Hex stands is related to another GW game, Man O'War (Always an unreservedly supporter of lost causes, I've recently decided to involve heavily in this long dead side game ?:p ) Like most GW games, Man O'War requires flying stands for some miniatures; yet, there are special, hex-shaped counters supposed to fit in the hex base to help identify different members of a single flying squadron. For some reason, Man O'War is the only game system where a clear hex shaped flying base has a real purpose. Hence my quest.

For NetEpic, I decided from the start to go with round flying bases for everything. Unfortunately, it did not save me enough hex bases for my Man O'War needs.

You know everything. My plan is defeated! ?:D
