Quote (CyberShadow @ 14 Mar. 2006 (22:24)) | Will you bid on these... as they are tempting. ? |
I expect I'll bid on a couple of them. ?Which ones do you want? ?I'll bid on 4,5 and 6 I expect. That leaves 1,2,3 for yourself. ?Doubt I'll win all three but it evens the odds a bit. ?
Oh my ebay ID is Ragashthereaver, what's yours so I don't end up bidding against you?

That sounds fine. I am CyberSammael. I usually bid low on all items and then see what happens at the end. I will go for one, two and three, but feel free to bid against me if you still need more.
Thanks.

Depending on the bids, I might be tempted to bid on one. I already have two engines and three of each car. So, it's not like I need more, but...

The land train is the one super heavy I don't have a copy of at the moment. So need to acquire at least one, hopefully two.
I have a blister pack with one in (one battlecar) but I don't want to open that!

I managed to get three Land trains with 4 battlecars each. Saves me opening my old blister pack one.
Bit more expensive than I hoped.
CyberShadow how did you get on?

Not so well. I was outbid on them all - although mostly by usernames that I recognised, so they went to a good home. I have a few of these already, and they are not my favourite minis, so I was just looking for a bargain.

Quote (Dwarf Supreme @ 20 Mar. 2006 (15:53)) | Congrats. How much did you end up paying? | ?11.50 each, so bit more than I wanted. Originally they were ?4.99 (Land train + 1 Battlecar) and ?3.99 (Three battlecars) so bit over the odds.
Got some Rapiers and Third edition rules off the same seller so reduced the postage.

True, a little more than you wanted to pay, but less then what I would've thought they would go for.
When I bought some from Archives, I think I paid $4 per battlecar and I was happy with that, since I never expected to get any ever again.

Glad you got them, although I would have wished you payed less. Unfortunately the epic market is quite brutal.

Yeah it does seem to be recently. ?Had bids down for two lots of 3 Thunderfires, someone came in at last minute and got both for ?13 plus per set...
Oh well I'll keep my eye out for those items at a later date. I think I've just about got everything for my Brotherhood I need for second edition rules. ?
