The "General GW stuff" lot...now that is one hell of a lot of things, whoever wins it all will be very happy indeed I guess.... :D ...He might have done better by selling it in seperate lots though... ???

That former employee lot is pretty insane.  That's either the second or third one I have seen in the past couple months, which strikes me as odd.  All were huge, and would no doubt have gone for much more if broken up.

As a former professor of mine used to say, "You pay for your thrills."

I also saw a former White Wolf employee auctioning off stuff a couple months ago.

...not that anyone on here probably cares.  It just popped into my head.

My buddy used to work at G/W US and he used to get "stuff" for next to nothing.  He got me a bunch of items, that were limited release, or months or years before they came out. :)  As for the e-bay listings, there are some really nice models there.  Get the stuff while you can, as Primarch and others have said ... :D

I wonder if somehow the two bidders (it takes two to drive an auction up) believe these are WH40k and do not understand these are Epic?

My goodness, if they want IG that bad I'll sell some of mine at those prices...

Currently, there are three bidders, and it stands at ?67 for 5 sprues - which makes it ?13.40 for EACH SPRUE!  :o

My God! Can you imagine the seller checking out how is auction is doing right now.  ???

Hmmm..... Seller = a very happy person right now I should imagine...

Seriously.., if these people think these are 40k sprues for some reason (ie they are rather stupid :L ), then I would like to see their face when the parcel arrives.. :p

hehe.. *goes off laughing*

well the auction for 5 sprues of IG that were at 67 pounds has been changed to 22 pounds because the bid was retracted due to false amount entered.  Either that or he read this forum thread  :D

Prices are unreal at the moment, however I will keep my stuff

Well the top bidder pulled out and said he had entered the "wrong" amount. The auction is back down to 22 pounds.

Asked old high bidder what happened. He typed 20,00 when he ment 22.00 this caused Ebay to count his bid as 2000 pounds rather then 20 pounds. Good thing he saw it before the auction closed. Don't know who would have been more shocked, the seller or the winner :-)

Was fun watching it though...

Even so, it means there is another lunatic out there who has placed an insane bid on them - it takes two to get them to raise remember!
