Hi all, Posted in the Epic Armageddon forum, and Apocolocyntosis suggested I try here. I am looking to get back into Epic and acquire a decent Space Marine starter force (Infantry and Vehicles). My original Space Marine and Imperial Guard armies were lost during some moves. All that I have left are some plastic Rhinos and Land Raiders from the Epic 40k starter box. After seeing some photos on Dakka, and some lists here, I am really interested in the Horus Heresy era and would eventually like to build up a couple of armies for that in order to play with some of the guys in my gaming group, but also just want to get a force I can play against the Eldar and Orks I was able to find from my old collection. If any of you have any spare Space Marine infantry, or enough extra models to put together a decent starter force that you would be willing to part with, please let me know. I have quite a few Orks on sprue that I could trade, also willing to buy outright through PayPal - just not looking to spend the kind of money I see on eBay auctions for Epic stuff. Edit to add: I'm in the US - Texas to be a bit more precise. Thanks in advance. |

Failing getting hold of enough of the original plastics, there are some very, VERY nice proxies available from Vanguard Miniatures (for all your infantry needs, inculding those elusive Terminators! Plus very suitable models for Thunderhawks, a few rhino variants, land speeders and even bikers). Look up the Tusculum Nova/Novan Elites range. You also mentioned Imperial Guard - other parts of the same (and cybershadows) range on there have been used by several people on this board (with more talent than I) to produce some very lovely Imperial Guard regiments. It's worth a look, I'd say. Also, a suggestion - mention your general location, might help encourage respose if people know they're in the same part of the world and all that. Good luck with the Marine hunt! ![]() |
