A couple of my friends have started playing epic again, something we haven’t done since the 90’s. The nostalgia is real! I am looking to join them but I sadly lack an army as I have misplaced it or sold it. Quite frightening when you are so old that things like an entire epic army (15.000+ points) simply vanish from memory….oh, well.
My painting skills are near non-existing and any attempt to paint 6 mm figures will result in one color figures, two at most. So I am looking for a painted army to save myself (and the figures) the aggravation of any attempt to paint. If dexterous 16 year old me couldn’t paint, surely old 35 year old me sucks at it even harder.
In a good world the army I am looking for is nice looking (eye candy is important, unlike 16 year old me who played with white primed figures but cared a great deal for winning) and at least 6000 points. We will most likely play 2000-3000 point battles, but I would like to be able to switch around the army composition to ensure different experiences for my opponent and me each time. Besides having enough for larger battles never hurt anyone (guess the urge to measure oneself in the size of the army is as strong as it was in 16 year old me –and I am not compensating!
)
In a perfect world, the army is eldar as I have fond memories of them. If the color scheme of my hopefully-future-eldar-army is Lyanden yellow, I will make an imprint of my hand and ship It to you. You are then welcome to hang it on a wall and help yourself to an endless supply of high fives year round. Any other color scheme is great, I’m just rambling by now.
So if anyone has a spare army (elder would be optimal – not marines, the other two players both have space marine armies) and are looking to give it a second life. I am in the marked for a well painted army of a decent to large size.

P.S. I am aware of the prices of epic and I am not looking for a super steal/ripoff. Just a fair price for a nice looking army.
