Hi guys

I recently picked up a job lot of epic stuff from a new contact. It was all from the Epic:40000 period, which is when I stopped following GW and their releases. Most of it I was familiar with, but it included a Blood Reavers box set which I haven't seen before. I can't find much reference to it online, can any give me the low down on its rarity or roughly what its worth? I'm not selling it, but I do like to know what I have.

Isn't that the 'army box' that had a chaos infantry sprue and some blisters of vehicles in it?

Either way, epic chaos stuff tends to go for a very pretty penny, especially on ebay to those naughty, naughty resellers that drive prices even further up (which is a way of saying "Damnit, I really want a slaaneshi-chaos army, but $30 a sprue? Bwahahaha! Never." )

Yeah, that's the one. I never played Epic:40000 but I believe they started to sell "detachments" rather than generic "faction" boxes like they did with original Epic.

Anyway, I checked ebay but can't find any listed, nor any on the completed listings either. To be hones,t like I said, I'm not interested in selling it on. In fact I was really fishing to find out how much another box might cost me as the numbers of each figure type are pretty small and I think you would need 2 boxes to make any useful sized units up.

I've got the Box (empty - all painted up already !) right here : 2 Chaos Land Raiders ; 3 Chaos Predators ; 6 Chaos Rhinos ; 4 Beatmen units ; 2 Khorne Bezerker units ; 2 Noise Marine units ; 4 Chaos Cultists units ; 1 Chaos Lord unit ; 1 Tzeentch Lord unit ; 2 Chaos Terminators ; 2 Flesh Hound units, 2 Chaos Marine units ... Maybe some here may be able to help out ? :sos

That was what I was after really, just some sort of base line figure to work with. I'm not going to be working on any Chaos stuff any time soon, too many other projects on the go already. I do have a habit of stockpiling for future armies though, and if another box pops up I would be interested just to make the different troop types in the box into more useable numbers.

Maybe some gents can at least have some of vehicles, etc., you could use to flesh out more units ...

It's relatively uncommon on ebay. I have seen it go anywhere from 75 to 150 dollars depending on the condition.

I've been trying to find out what other detachments they made I think there was an Eldar one I've heard about was there any others?
