This is really a stab in the dark, mostly because it's been a few months and even ebay's dried up when it comes to FW Aeronautica stuff, but I figured I'd ask. After a few games of Epic and a better feel for how to use aircraft effectively, I find I wish I'd prioritized some purchases differently. Ah well. So, if anyone's got buyer's remorse or some stuff kicking around that they doubt they'll be using anytime soon/ever again, hopefully you'll catch sight of my post? Want: Chaos: 2-4 FW Hell Talons 1 FW Harbinger? Space Marine: FW Thunderhawk Transporter(s) Imperial Navy: 2-4 FW Marauders / Marauder Destroyers Would probably be crazy to hope for 4 Hell Talons total, but you never know. After one game where a gentleman brought 3 squadrons of Marauders (plus Thunderbolts for coverage), and made my advance look like Highway 80 north of Al Jahra, I've gained some respect for decently-armored air power. The Harbinger would be fun, if only because it stands a reasonable chance of simply shrugging off any anti-air fire and would pull the CAP, leaving the Hell Talons open to actually hitting a target. The Thunderhawk transporters could be interesting, and I've been considering playing around with Black Templar. I'm sort of banking on buyer's remorse here, but you never know. Wish I'd grabbed 3 when I had the chance. The FW Marauders are a longshot. I figure anyone who has one isn't letting go anytime soon, but I love the models and don't see myself ever buying the 40K scale one any. time. soon. I'm less concerned here, as there are alternative means of filling this gap, I just like the FW sculpts. Have: Paypal Epic Space Marine / Epic 40k era Rhinos (quantity: oh dear god, I'd better start converting these into other tanks because there's no way I'll ever even come close to using all of them) Epic 40k era Land Raiders (quantity: 4-6 unpainted, another 6 basecoated black. Turns out I don't need as many land raiders as I thought I would) 5x pristine Epic Space Marine-era Chaos Sprues (chaos squats, minotaurs, trolls, juggernaut riders, seekers of slaanesh) 220x Mk 6 beaky tacticals (bolters only, so... Heresy Tactical Formations?), still on sprues I might have some metal hydras available too, but I really should do an estimate of how many of them I'll need before I commit to that. |

Bumping to update and to extend my search a little. - Got my hands on the marauders I was looking for - Might soon be able to get my hands on some Hell Talons - Managed to land one Thawk Transporter (thanks Lindstrom!), would love to get my hands on 1-2 more possibly. |
