Cross posted from end of world thread Hello all. Haven't used tac-coms for a while, first because I was instructed to not use most forms of social media and then after I could post incessantly about I popped by only to discover all the stuff people had made had been deleted. While I didn't mind the sale stuff going I thought it was a bit off to remove all trace of their existence which put me off looking here. Anyway I have noticed too late everything is going, shame, I always wanted a brace of void spinners... But by pure coincidence I had finally ordered a Tau Manta from forgeworld at salute. They mucked up my order and forgot about it, then sent out one of the old Mantas with vehicle bays instead. Which had some broken and missing parts, then sent out another, with different problems and finally have sent out another which was partially assembled and looked like it had been in someones draw. Ends up being 1 complete, another complete I think though one of the pins for the moving bay may be broke and one missing half its guns, its antenna and with some odd glueing. So, I fly to Cambodia Saturday, I can put them (the probably alright and the not alright, I can check in detail) in the post Friday, who wants to supply some money to treat my daughter to some sort of thrilling fun. Or even better swap for some other tau stuff, as she has too much fun anyway. |

Got any with a complete, nicely cast hull? |

Both have complete hulls, one is just missing various bits and the other seems actually to be complete, I will check/take a pic when I come back home. |

To clarify these are not the Mantas forgeworld had on their website but the older ones (that were stopped some years ago - no idea how they started sending them out). http://www.stephane.info/res/gallery/ne ... _manta.jpg http://www.stephane.info/res/gallery/ne ... terior.jpg http://www.stephane.info/show.php?code=ne_tau The hull is hollow with the bay doors and cargo lift going in the space. |

I didn't realise they were different - so how do these compare to the ones most recently on the Epic 40,000 pages of Forgeworld? Bigger? |

I always wanted a couple of those Mantas, it's a pity the model couldn't become available for us again somehow. Interior detail of the launch bays inside, outwardly identical. They re-did the more recently available version with a sealed interior around the time of Aeronautica. |

very cool. I am mad that I did not order a manta until it was available. These are already reserved, right? If not, I am a taker for one. |
