Hi all,

I have lots of Epic infantry, and more coming, that are without the long bases.
I dont want to use the square bases, as my burgeoning Jouran Dragoons 53rd Steel Legion army are all long bases.

Does anyone know where to find these cheap - eBay doesnt have any by themselves.

Ideas?

Buy them from GW. 16 is five bucks. It's not a GREAT price, but it's not that bad at all.

Had a look though, and with GW's Australia Tax added its around $18 for 16...

Anyone want to buy some in the US, and ship them to Australia

in australia, its actually cheaper to buy an eldar warhost than it is to buy an eldar warhost worth of bases. madness i know but that's just how GW roll. You do get bases with the infantry packs right? (i personally have never bought one from GW)

32 bases and a bunch of models (i gather you dont get bases for the jetbikes, if you do its 36) for $35
or 32 bases for $36

One ooption is to get bases from GW. I reccommend the Ork Infantry - it has the most stands for the price, 38. Another option is to make your own out of two sheets of 1mm plasticard. The standard base has 1/4 in. holes. Time consuming, but inexpensive.

You could also PM Otterman; he had some resin bases available last I checked.

If you're even less picky, popsicle sticks are about the right width. Buy a pack for $1, and some spackle, and you're set forever.

Both DRM and Exodus Wars make bases too ... prefect for 6mm Epic ...

I just cut all my converted khornies off their long bases and used washers from the local hardware store, 25 washers for 2.45, is way cheaper and i prefer the round base. picks will be up on my thread soon if you wana take a peek.

i'm actually basing all my bloody hand (and a number of other armies both 40k and epic, i suspect) on 30mm flat edge (ie GW style rather than PP/Wyrd style rolled shoulder) bases that i bought at 1000 (plus a bunch more, by weight there seems to be about 1200 there) for $60 or so. cant remember the webstore, but i'm sure i could find it if needed
