Hey Rug – I guess you must have missed it but I did stick a thread up highlighting them being on ebay for people here.

I’d be happier if people here won them and they stayed in our community, but for a couple of reasons I’m putting them on ebay. For one I probably will make more for them there than I would here as there’s a wider audience (the Exodites had 30+ watchers the last time I checked yesterday). I’m an unfunded full-time postgraduate student with zero income for a whole year (bar selling a few possessions on ebay) and I’ll be 5k+ in debt to the bank by September (and career development loans have high interest and need to be re-paid quickly unlike the much more relaxed student loans undergraduates get) with uncertain job prospects and nowhere to fall back on or live afterwards. So... in the circumstances, money is a bit more important than it was in the past when I was working full-time. The other reason is that I really don’t know how much they are worth. I find it hard enough estimating what seems a fair price for everyday stuff, let alone something as precious and rarely sold as Exodites and the auction system is a fair and easy way to avoid this. I haven't made any decisions on the other Exodites yet; I definitely plan to keep some, but what proportion is kept and what sold is undecided. Will see how these go.

I have a couple of dozen listings of epic Tau up as well and I mention the Epic UK list and tournaments on those (I actually had an ebayer get in touch asking about epic rules for the Manta and I sent him a link to the Epic-UK lists). There aren’t rules for Exodites in epic so it would be less relevant to mention it there, but it just didn’t occur to me when I got round to doing the Exodite listings; I’d listed 85 listings of White Dwarves inbetween and I duplicated and altered one of the White Dwarf listings for the Exodites.

I’m off to a gathering shortly for my friend Sophie’s birthday, but I’ll try and respond to outstanding PMs tomorrow evening.

Got a bit distracted by an assignment due soon. Am posting two of the three packages to be sent so far today now, but ran out of time to pack the last one this morning before legging it for the train. Will reply to other messages when I get a free moment, hopefully tonight or if not then on the weekend.

I'd do the same after my last sale on TC - items sold at reasonable TC rates (ie not what I could potentially get on ebay) then put up for sale by the buyer on ebsy as soon as they arrived >:( - and even advertised on TC!
