Anybody interested in a little commission job? I am in need of custom bitz for 28mm jump packs. Namely, stylish wings to be attached to the sides of a jump pack (see pic).

Since there seems to be many talented persons around here who can do 3D sculpting and have connections to 3D printing services I thought to ask whether it would be viable (i.e. at least somewhat cost effective) to commission someone to do these custom bitz. As these would be for a vanguard veteran squad + a lieutenant commander I'd need 22 wings in total.

The pic is not the cleanest possible as it's a quick pencil sketch but I'm sure you get the idea. The front/back sides are, of course, assumed to be identical so a wing can be used on either side of the pack.

(EDIT: forgot the pic...)

Seraphim or blood angels?

ah wait, you did say straight up marines.

This might be easiest to do yourself as a push green stuff mold, just do need to sculpt an opposing pair.

That's where 3D design comes in handy - mirroring is easy in the computer.

I actually thought both sides should look identical so a wing can be used on either side. And that's why I asked the resident experts here to do the job for me; my meager time resources are already stretched to the limit. I don't have any reserves left for learning 3D modeling or mould making. Nor are there any 3D printing services in Finland I'm aware of. So: any takers?

If you do a green stuff push mould you don't have to learn mould making :agree:
