Considering that EW got the cavalry sized Mounted Bounty Hunters coming out soon and you have the slightly bigger DRM Kraytonian Lizard riders, there's good options for a proxy Exodite army in the making... $150 will buy you a LOT of DRM and EW stuff... :;):

a storm trooper riding a dinosaur like a horse. I just couldn''t wrap my mind around it - it didn't make any sense, why would this high-tech guy be playing dino-cowboy instead of on one of those slick speeders.

I believe the attraction is due to the apparent contradiction between the high tech universe and the low tech mode of operation. It's not really any different than the WW1 tanks or the rough riders of the IG.

I agree, the hi-tech ... low-tech mix is ... well cool, sometimes. Even though I like the Exodites and have a couple of each. IMO, G/W goes over-the-top with some of their ideas. As far as the current price, they are obviously worth a lot to someone ...   G/W should have never destroyed the molds and if they re-released, I'm sure they'd be good sellers ...

Very interesting, up to $185 now, serious money for what 6 models!  Will be interesting to see who gets them in the end.  Epicollector seems to have been out bid but the names are now masked.

Well, obviously, I won't be winning this auction...

Anyone out there willing to sell my one of each of these minis? PM with your terms if so.

Hey, $150 was my bid...

The Epicollector heat is due to 2 (not 1, but 2, 2!) times that he outbid me on an imperial dropship. If I just had 1, it would greatly benefit the TacComm community.

Perhaps one of our friends on the continent (with good EUR:USD conversion rate) can win it for us.

$355 with 11 minutes to go!  WTF!  I am so buying some little kids dinosaurs from toyworld and sticking some eldar on the back then spraying them metallic and putting them on ebay :).

A final bid of $355 and the winner is... Epicollector!!

I now understand his reputation...

wow just wow, 6 models for $355.  yeah can understand why he is called Epicollector now as well, must put all his disposable income into the hobby.  I'd have thought he would have had a couple of sets of these anyway.  I wonder if he plays Epic at all or just collects?
