hi i think we all can agree that we have an interest in keeping epic miniatures averrable so the question what to do. I will line 3 types of (hyper) active consumerism the first is the lest efficient for a minority group like: boycott the second is by power type 1: we by all right to produce and sell epic size W40K figures and by production facilities to do so. third option is by power type 2: we by enough GW shares to get power in the board of direction to continue and even expand production epic minis if you haw another idea or want to discuss these options please write in this tread |

yes i didn't say it would be tjep it could be very expensive to do it but think of it we here is 1338 members and we all use around 50$ month on this hobby every month its 66,900$ in one month to start a business or to start a fund to by shares and the reason that epic doesn't sell is that its not ease averrable if you can remember the happy 90's there was a large influx of players all the time do to the exposure in the shops the reason for the current situation is that epic is now GW's ugly step son and not presived as a clean game by the board of direction do to its potential to compete with W40K and in a capitalistic world money is power a lot of money is allot of power so use your power lets combine forces and by over power |

off course wee could also put the money in a large mini producer as an investment with the clause that it should be used on a by up of the right to produce epic figures from the w40k universe and the back right of the old minis from the 80's and 90's i don't say its essay but its possible we have combined monetary power to make it possible but it must include all right to epic |

the fund would of-course be a lawyer who take care of our interest the most important is that he is intimate with british corporate law and he is based in Great Britain its basically just look in the phone book under corporate lawyers and find one it would be god if he also has some understating in grass root unions and funds its been done before in grass-root movements the most well documented case is the british Labourer organisations party Labour and they got power and it spread like a virus all over Europe in Denmark 2 years later we got the social democrats and the rest happened all over Europe and there is other cases like the Swedish Eco grass-root organisation who actually own the largest power company in Sweden "VatenFall" |

I think if Epic is to be 'saved'***, the initative has to come from within the company. *** == Expanded. |

Well ... my White Dwarf sub expired ... Doh ! So I got another 2 years. I was thinking about not resubing since they don't do Epic, but they gave me such a good deal that I figured it was worth it ... So I did my part ... However, since they do not support Epic and DRM and E/W make such cool stuff ... Who needs G/W ! "Thats all I have to say about that ..." - F. Gump ![]() |

yes but GW goal has been to close epic for years if you see all GW moves since the pulled the plug on epic and other specialist games in the shops (not only GW's own) it makes perfect sense that the goal is to kill epic. just look at the new apocalypse rules it is meant to play basically epic in W40K scale just to get the last fantasy of another game type out of the head of the average GW gamer so any attempt to save epic must come from the ground up not the other way around we must fight for epics survival and fast i will bet 50 pound that within 4 years epic is dead at GW if we don't act fast |

(duz.holger @ Apr. 19 2008,06:10) QUOTE hi i think we all can agree that we have an interest in keeping epic miniatures averrable so the question what to do. I will line 3 types of (hyper) active consumerism Another option is to give your money to people that respect you as a consumer and gamer Baccus DRM Exodus Brigade Pete from Cold War Commander when his Sci-fi Commander rules become available GW treats us all like cr*p and we all take it. Not me any longer. Sci-fi Commander is a fun game that has army lists for piles of minis and that is where mt money is going Walk away from GW or, to be blunt, quit whining because if you stick around and take this sort of abuse from GW then you have nothing to complain about as you have options |
