props to moscovian for getting me interested in epic again, after i played my first game with orks and chaos i thought i would never play again, but we just had a throwdown yesterday where i played with an almost all tank guard army, and i really had a good time. im looking to pick up some IG tanks if anyone has any laying around. specifically leman russes, a few variants, and some artillery support. no super heavies, i plan on picking some of them at gamesday baltimore this year. i have paypal. also an ork great gargant for epic, its built and bare metal. i also have some knight class titans, plastics, prolly around 6, for trade as well. |

Although I don't have any swaps available, I'd love to know what you didn't like about your first game experience, and what made you change your mind? |

well, i think most of my first game was just me being bogged by rules i didnt understand. i also didnt understand (excuse my 40k mind) that bikers could hurt predators without having melta bombs or something like that. i really didnt like infantry either. i liked the tanks i had in my first game. when moscovian contacted me for a second game i was hesistant, but agreed anyways. i asked to play tank heavy guard, as i dont play guard in 40k, i wouls start guard if i liked it. after playing the game i found vehicles to be alot more fun then troops, so knowing of AC in 40k i inquired if there was an AC like list in epic, thus the minervan list came up, i scoped it out when i got home and it was everything i wanted in an armored company, loads of tanks, super heavy tanks, and if i wanted NO TROOPS! while i know the disadvantages of having no troops, i just dont want to deal with them, ill take the handocap and run the armored company. moscovian told me that the minervan list is just about to get updated againm so im waiting with baited breath to see the changes, i hope its nothing major, i like v 1.6 alot, lets me run what i want to run. there is no shadowsword entry in the 1.6 version, unless i missed it. i plan on having 3 of each super heavy though. |

The changes will mostly be cosmetic, adding unit description text and the like. The only big change will be on the status of the Demolisher-armed tanks, which will either become 'rare', or lose their experimental armament rules (MW4+, Ignore Cover). PS: Welcome to Epic.  |
