No, I don't think ebay did anything to Terrence.

Here are his current auctions: http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZtere ... ensQQhtZ-1

Including such highlights as a SPACE MARINE COMPANY MEGA DEAL!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SPACE-M....iewItem

Nice 'deal' there Terrence.

Nice 'deal' there Terrence.

Sad, eBay should be able to see this for the scam it is.

Spotted this this morning... I tried looking in the link for a 'report this listing to eBay' type service... but there isn't one ???  Either way, I think if enough people complain eBay might do something...

Also, I'm watching the Guard stuff, when someone starts bidding on any of his stuff I'll e-mail them to tell them it's a scam... :blues:

I think my favorite bit of this particular scam is the very last bit of it.

Seller's payment instructions
Items will be posted as soon as my supplier gets them to me. I may be able to accept other payment methods - please email me to ask, i will reply if possible although no questions will be answered after auction end.

Wonderful, isn't it? If you buy it, and he doesn't ship it, not only does he claim he doesn't have it. But he also straight up tells you he absolutely will not answer questions after the item is closed.

You can't warn bidders, he's made bidder's status private.

I wasn't aware that 1 command squad and 6 guard stands constituted a "MEGA DEAL!!!" or a "HUGE LOT!!!"

I'm not going anywhere near his stuff. I can tell right now it would be a huge pain in the posterior.

But will it make a differance?

Will the eBay Dork who reviews it understand the game being played?

I thought in the end he mustt have pulled the plug himself because I eventually got a reply from eBay saying (in effect) what auctions are you talking about?

Not really a lot you can do until the amounts bidded really are over the Epic values.

May as well just smear his name on various boards and hope that eventually someone will recognise him and give him a mightily deserved wedgie.

Well we* did get one guy banned from Ebay this week.

He was selling items like this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Forgewo....iewItem

Luckily, we managed to catch him breaking Ebay rules (Shill bidding), since Ebay won't normally ban people for this type of scam. This one just got too greedy.

So this post causes me to ask: What ebay WG Group?

As for the rest, I agree that ebay is slow to act on most things.

And as for these Dorks being greedy, they always are. Once they made the choice to cheat people, they do not stop. They always go too far if they are watched.

Good Job!

Search terms in common with 40k, No Picture, No size measurements, No statement of scale, Selling single Epic common tanks, all knowing many of the new 40k kids do not know about Epic and what it is.

If I go to eBay and Search for Leman Russ for example, his auction will show up. I may or may not catch the significance of the fact it is in the "Epic Section". Thus the way he words the auction and the fact he does not respond to emails asking if ti is 40k sized or asking for photos means he is trying to trick people into buying Epic sized vehicles thinking they are buying 40k scaled ones.

eBay seems to have a hard time understanding how he is tricking people. He went private to stop people like me from sending emails to the bidders to alert them it is not 40k. Before he did, the one person wrote my exact thought. He said:
