I'm not offended... I've been playing and collecting Epic since '90... most current E:A players or E40K or SM2 or SM1 (most meaning over 50%), will be dumping their Epic stuff within 2-4 years! That's been my experience since '90!
And I play Epic with modified rules! The L/Russ Rec Veh is bought/used like the SM2 SM Tech Marine... Stated like a Demolisher or Hellhound... with repair rules from SM2. ?
We do the same with SM Lib, Chap, Medic, Tech, IG Commissar, Pskyer, Confessor, etc., (See my TO&Es that Doug posted for me a week or 2 ago). We only will use 85% of the E:A rules with the rest coming from SM1 mostly and a little SM2 and E40K.
And I've incorperated activation since our first game of SM1 in '90... been doing ?it that way since then! ?
So the L/Russ Rec Veh. is on our TO&Es (not lists !)! ?
But always do what works for you !

Ok, just an update. The tanks made the trip from OZ to CA in little over two weeks. 
Now to devide the spoils with Maksim.
