Hi!

They didnt sell well. I retailed back then and Squat sales werent great. The overstock at distributors lasted quite a while after they got pulled.

Primarch

That's a shame I loved them in both 40k and Epic. In Epic they seemed to be the strongest second release army available so not sure why they didn't sell very well.

Each to their own I suppose!

Don't suppose you know if there are hidden stashes anywhere!  :D

Welcome Enderel!

Seems I'm a sucker for praetorian weapons.. ?

All good Epic players are!

Ah you have to love the Colossus, Cyclops and Land train, bit more character than plain old titans.. (Although I'm sure not everyone would agree!)

I use to be good at Epic, not sure now though, haven't played in years!  I'd have thought that the turn system woul make it great for play by email but I cannot find any systems to do it?  Anyone got any ideas on that front?

Officially, Tyranids ate 'em all up.

Well that is a novel way of killing off a race, I heard something along those lines a few years back but thought it was a joke...  Crappy ending for a great race..

Didn't most major books at the time have loads of Squat characters in? Space Marine, Inquisitor and Deathwing all had them, odd just to get rid.

I'm sure they ad IG units of Squats at one point as well?  Did they mysteriously all disappear over night?!

??

Hi!

Mind you it was 40k squats. Epic squats sold just as good as other armies. In fact squats lived in epic far longer than 40k.

Until epic 40k came along and they killed them there too.

Squats certainly seemed to work in epic as an army.

Agreed. My usual opponent (my nephew) usually plays Eldar and he often has fits against my Squat army.

Hi!

Too bad 40k could not build on epic's success with squats.

I wish I was, even suggested that I'd have to pay for some gas to get to the post office for him! Packaging was an optional extra as well..  :p

Agreed, that's ridiculous. True it will cost more to ship overseas, but that's not even a fair deal for the rate of exchange from dollars to pounds. If I were to win it, it would be worth the drive to the dudes house to pick it up. He's only about 2 hours from me.
