Hi!

Primarch if you ever come accross a large collection you don't want.  please contact me.  I woulden't mind a few deals like that.  The key to the 2000.00 deal on ebay was the stuff that was not shown.  The pictures he posted are half the pictures he sent me in an email, and all of those pictures combined make up about 65 percent of the actual collection.

I realize the auction did not list pictures of everything, I merely went on the numbers posted on the add. Not a bad deal though, not great, but certainly not bad.

Deals like the one I listed dont just "happen". I make them happen. I have moved something like 12 times over the last 10 years or so. I have met a lot of people and made many "connections". These kinds of deals are possible because I "look up" old acquiantances, almost all of which stopped playing epic years ago. So its quite easy to make a deal for a decent amount of cash up front for something the person in question doesn't use. A lot of people just prefer a quick transaction instead of the work involved in doing e-bay auctions and such. Also there is a saying in spanish that goes...

"better a bird in hand than a 1000 flying". Meaning its usual prudent to take a deal cash in hand at the moment than the uncertainty of a future deal that may come or not.

The other reason is regional. Gaming, mini gaming at least is pretty much dead. The golden age back when I used to retail and there were many people selling the stuff is long gone. People are very fadish with gaming here. Only RPG's are more or less constant. So all those minis sold in the early 90's are still flying about used and unwanted. All you have to do is make some phone calls....

All this said, once I reach the million points, I'll be posting any and all "residual" stuff or stock I know may still be around for forum members to exploit.

As for reproduction, I've met people over the years who have made pretty amazing replicas of GW stuff, for personal use of course. So your okay in that regard, just keep it private.

As of January I will begin the colossal task of updating my inventory. Its staggering work. Its not only the order I posted, but several "smaller" ones that also need to be catalogued. It will take months, but rest assured I will post pics here, or you can place them in your gallery.

A "primarchload" is only valid if its documented properly!  :;):

Chaosorc:  I know you said you prefer eBay, but there have been several of your auctions which I was considering which went just a bit over what I would be willing to pay.  I figure if you didn't have to pay listing and paypal fees on a $5 lot, you could probably come out ahead dealing direct.

If you change your mind, let me know.  I've got a good refs on eBay, bartertown, and a couple on here.

GOT THE COLLECTION

Total shipping weight was 330LBS

I am very pleased so far and ive not seen much of it at all.
After opening 4 of the 5 boxes, I have 21 total epic game boxes (space marine adaptus titanicus etc)  full of miniatures and things.  I have not yet been able to srot thru it, and it is very mixed.  Just a few highlights so far

2 capitol imperious
2 hellbore mole
2 shrinkwrap bommerz over the dsulfer river
3 banelord titans
shrinkwraped mega paint set
shrinkwraped space marine game
shrinkwraped epic 40K game
shrinkwrapped armies of the imperium
20+ chaos greater daemons
50+ mix of imperial, eldar and chaos knights

As I said these are just some of what I have gone thru, I can just sneak into the boxes right now.  I will kee pyou guys updated if you like.  I know there was some interest in finding out what was in the set.

I am on the last large box,  the person who sold it told me he was very low on the blister pack count.  As he packaged the box he counted a total of 140+.

Hi!

Sounds like you'll have your hands full for a long time to come!

I find that the easiest way to know how good the deal is, is to calculate how much you acquired at standard retail rate and compare with how much you paid. If it is in excess of a 50% discount you did well.

Sounds like you did VERY well!

Cheers

Yes I am very pleased with it.  The blister packs are some that ive never seen before

Eldar knights
Ork Armored Vehicles
Titan variations

Did you get your buildings in the mail yet?

Also if you ever need more buildings ive got plenty more now :)

I swear there is 21 boxed sets here and buildings for every one.  Every box I open has buildings sitting in it.
Space Marine buildings (plastic roof)
Titan legions (all cardboard)
Adaptus titanicus (foam)

Just when I thought I had gotten rid of those bulky buildings I get another huge load :)

Hi!

Chaosorc, the buildings have not arrived yet, but its the holiday season and things get delayed. When you send it?

The edlar knights are a cool and rare find, cherish them, they are hard to get!

You motivated me yesterday to break out more blisters from one of my deals, I opened about 40 blisters, some so ancient the plastic was dark and brittle. It fun stuff to do it, you'll have a blast!

If you want to unload more buildings I'll go for em.... :;):

I sent them out a few days after you sent payment.  They should get there soon.  I will try and get a count of buildings for you.  How many more do you want?
