Some interesting stuff on Ebay some of you may not have seen: some Epic models (apparantly) painted by the 'Eavy Metal Team!! From what I can see they do seem to be real- I have some old WD's with these ?Mk 2 Thunderhawks in, and they look virtually the same.. Just look at the sellers other items for the rest (BA tanks mainly I think), or search for "Epic 40k" and they'll be there..

Saw those, they have seen better days though. I notice many have paint chiped off or other problems. Like on the three Thunderhawks, all three have paint chipped off the tails for example or paind broken off some places on the wings.
Bottom line is they are old beat-up models that studio or not would need at least major restoration.

Hi!
Yup, I agree these were shown in WD issues around 140's, when SM2 was first released.
I agree with dafrca, they are very worn out. At a high bid of nearly 16 dollars, it may be okay, but certainly at the high end of what I'd bid on them.

I see what you mean after looking a bit harder at the pics.. yeah.. and I think that this period wasn't the best for minis in WD- the colour schemes are a bit weird, and the painting isn't fantastic (better than me tho )...

Yep, those are Mk.2s, I remember those paint schemes... Yuch !!! They need to be stripped and repainted, hopefully in camo colors !!!
