Please note, these pictures where taken in the middle of the night, and most of the models aren't completely painted yet, as a matter of fact, I think most will get a differnt paintjob then the ones you will see here. But non the less here goes:

Intruiging stuff you got there, I especially like your smaller ships! Hmm Im amused to see you building these smaller ships now, very cool! Currently we were having discussions on the Anargo Sector forum on smaller ships (so local ships such as trade ships, transports etc)

One design

Other designs, including transportlander

But yeah, maybe those could inspire you as well and erm...keep up the good work :)

Hope you are preparing a guide for at least making those lorchas (wow, incredible models!)

Will do, but it is very simple. I'll try to make some diagrams for you. Basically they're Idolators quit in half with to weaponbatteries fromn the plastic imperial sprue. One of the Lorcha's has its original idolator prow, the other has a prow made of a space marine shoulderpad. The third lorcha is a OOP Ork shoota something with a  dsearchlight and assorted bits  :D

thnks for the compliment, byw did you read my RT-list document on the RT thread?

Pity, the pics are a bit dark but I think the ships look great.

Yannic, could you please try to make an article for Warp Rift with a list of the components and some pictures/diagrams/explanations/whatever about how you made this things? Everyday i get more and more interested in them...

Yups will do, they're pretty simple to make. I'll get right onto it and send it to Black horizon for the next warp rift.

I want it i want it...
Now, i need a little advice here: What would you do, buy some cargoships (the standards, of which i only own 1, although i own 12 armed transports from the RT scorts blisters) or buy some idolators (so as to get some punch)? also, which one of your conversions was CHEAPER? (it?s hard to be dole...)

hmm, I'd say go for idolators, but you'll have to have a lot of spare weapon batteries lying arround for these conversions unfortunately. This is the main reason why I haven't build more of the ships ( I currently have 4 other idolators). On the cost, I'm not sure which one was cheaper. I got my chaos fleet second hand for 50 euros I believe so that's pretty cheap ( for 6 cruisers a despoiler and 6 idolators).
Most of the other conversions are done with leftover bits.
by the way, which one of the vessels do you like most? Then I can create a short guide on how to build them for you and post it here in this thread with pictures :). I've almost finished my article on all the conversions, but I still need some good pictures.

Great models! I love the use of 40k SM shoulderpads and backpacks in some of the models. Cool idea! I had seen this made with tiranids, but not SM yet! :D

They look really good. I do not favour the lorcha with the idolator prow (looks too... rough to me) but the models are really simple to make as far as I can see but look devilishly cool  congrats for a great fleet man.

Some better pictures would be appreciated, though, since as you yourself said they are kind of dark and you cannot appreciate the details there.

Cheers,

Xavi

Pretty smart fleet you have taking shape there, your ships have a utilitarian look about them which is pretty appealing. Hard to see too much in the dim light though, take some more snaps, please!
