Hey all- new to this forum and I thought I'd post these images of my recent work here- to those who have seen them on the SG site forums I apologize for repetition but since this seems to be a more supportive forum in general I couldn't resist  First off my converted Daemonship- "Musta Krakish" in tribute to Metalocalypse    Some Converted Rogue Trader and Xeno Escort pics   The above ship I have dubbed "Prowler"  And finally a Supernova Eldar cruiser from Blackhorizon's MMS rules.

Nice work, and welcome to the boards I really like the eldar ship. ?What did you use for the prow? My only critique is the picture quality  ? Do you have a good camera? or is it a ultra compact?If you wish, PM me and I can try to give you some hints for the camera settings. Cheers, CF |

Actually I used a really high quality camera- the problem is I used the biggest lense available and it had pretty much a paper thin plane of focus. Also the prow of the Eldar ship I used with the base of an Eldar Weapons platform from 40k though if I were to make another model of such a ship I may experiment with parts from epic eldar tanks. |

Hi, See if this helps: 1) set the camera mode to aperature priority (probably marked "A" or "AP" on the dial). 2) use the flash 3) focus the camera manually 4) turn up the f-stop as high as it can go. This will increase the depth of field, bringing more of the model into focus. 5) take the picture 6) turn down the f-stop, and take another picture. 7) repeat the above a few times, each time only changing the f-stop.  The pics with the highest f-stop may be underexposed (dark), but as the f-stops decrease there should be a good compromise between exposure and depth of field.This may not work for your camera, but at least digital film is cheap Once again, really nice work. lol Xisor- compliment taken  Thanks much to everyone being so supportive on my Musta Krakish project- even though Im pleased with the other work I've done (especially the supernova) I'd have to say from a creative and improvised standpoint, Musta is my favorite project to have completed to date. In fact, I am considering ordering another pair of Chaos cruisers for the sake of further Daemonic conversions. (Just imagine a Styx with giant gaping fang lined maws for launch bays ) If anyone has any particularly cool ideas for a really outlandish Daemon ship post em here- any Chaos god-specific ships- anything!
