What the heck is it? And what are the little fellas with him? He's a Tyranid Malanthrope from ForgeWorld The little guys are Gaunts, tiny guys who are rubbish at doing anything except dying in large numbers.  When did you figure that out and how do you do yours? I started making a 40k 'nid army about a year ago, havn't gotten very far yet. I had a local(ish) glaziers make me a whole bunch of glass discs for them... I couldn't figure out a way to cut perspex into neat enough circles with accurate 40k base-sizes (I don't have many power tools beyond a Dremel) so I went the easy way and had a bunch of pros do it for me. As a side-effect of the same purchase I've also got some nice looking aircraft stands for Epic. |

Ah, now. ?The termagant fleshborers have gotten a lot better, what with an actual AP value and the Living Ammo rule. ?Actually makes it worth shooting with them, in exceptional circumstances.  Very nice stuff (including the blending on the carapaces). ?That's one way to stop worrying about grades of sand.  |
