Ladies,Gentlemen, I take great pleasure in welcoming you to this outpost, remote yet strongly held, of our profession. The shall be hallowed ground for airmen of all nations, whichever they may serve, a stronghold for technical innovation, a bulwark of the aerial military and civil engineers of our planet. Here you may expose the results of your perusal of the craft of aeromongering; here you may propose brave endeavours, to which, regardless of nationality, we shal, if worthy, ontribute; here you may prepare the lines of defence against the threat, for we fear the Martians, defeated, are preparing their return....

:{

Anyway, tethers away, and lets see a few models. But before, a brief advertisement by our sponsor, GW  :L

Which Gw models do you use with Aeronef fleets?
Offhand, I could think of:
1 - the Epic Overlord airship (obviously, if a bit over-armed!)
2 - the Epic Colossus Mega Cannon (as a ground based - ah - mega-cannon, what else?)
3 - Epic Bombard guns, as fixed gun emplacements
4 - Man O' War Dwarf ships, as (wow) ships.... also useful for the future Aquanef, perhaps.
5 - Man O' War Dwarf War Balloons (Gyrocopters are, I feel, hopelessly out of scale)
Ironically, all the above except for the Bombard guns (and I prefer the SM2 era ones) are out of production and generally poorly availaible..  :(
6 - A weirdo idea, this - an Epic Tzeentchian Doomwing as an independent, powerful flyer that fleets could gang upon.

Any thoughts anyone?
Also - would you paint this for Epic/Man O'War (proopbably!), for Aeronef, or try a scheme which could fit both (not easy if you prefer colourful Squat/Dwarf schemes....)

Actually I use none of the above, but love the idea of 2 and 3.  I havent got any Squat stuff, but now I have a reason to get me a big Cannon....

:)

They were done for the old GW RPG "Space: 1889"
The website shown on the pics has a few more if you are interested!

The strike at the Tas Aeronef Dockyard and Construction Park by those cursed Unionists (no doubt egged on by thoses darned Bolsheveiks!) has halted construction of the German Dig bombers, the remainder of the Black Anarchist Fleet (2 Cutlasses and a captured Kentucky Armoured Cruiser Dig), the Austro-Hubngarian torpedo Squadron and the 2 French Dig-AeroCarriers.

Pics to follow once the issue of lost workers is overcome.  Sadly though, this pause in construction is likely to last at least 3 months.  Apologies to our customers with outstanding orders and hope your understanding is forthcoming :)

Hi all,
the Knight of Malta have a new ship - the S.Barbara, an Aeronef, of course.

For connoisseurs, she's based on Brigade's Italian Pisa class.

There's your fix Tas!  :alien:
