Hi all,
After being away creating my Warhammer Dwarf army over the past few months, I have finally put them to rest after a number of successful battles and returned to the wonderful world of E:A.
I managed to get a small Crimson Fists army assembled (no more yellow after my Imp Fists army!), and have got some more Ork "convershuns" done. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Other than that, the only interesting thing I'm making is a terrain piece which consists of a Warhound Titan thats been smashed backwards and through a building, which has now crumbled around it. It's looking ok at the moment, but I'm still not sure how to paint it.
Cheers, Freshmetal.

Undercoated the converted Tech Guard Command group and finished the bases for the infantry companies. These are old mk1 Eldar guardian models with the pointy bit on the heads snapped off. No Golden Demon winners but passable for gaming purposes (And no those are NOT Shruikens! ...Just a very odd pattern Lasgun ) I'll have a few pics of the entire Tech Guard army up in a few days once the Command models have been painted. They look more distinct from my regular IG now which I think is nice. Maybe I'll add a few knights to the army later... Oh, and maybe some moles and termites.... and.... and.... *Oh stop it and concentrate on the Painting competition instead:laugh: *
Cheers!

Nice! Looks just like da one on da box |
Well, since they're the Ultramarines, I figured I should be pretty orthodox in my approach. Many of the markings were dictated by the banner that came with the kit (why waste a good banner, eh?). I do have a question for those in the know. What is the "army marking" (white skull with yellow circle around it) for? Is similar to the "campaign badge" from Armies of the Imperium?
I did leave quite a lot more bare metal (well, black drushbrushed with boltgun metal, if you want to get technical) on the autocannon and around the hips. I couldn't imagine painting a replaceable barrel up all fancy; I wanted it to look a bit more industrial.

I've just spent an hour converting a Goliath heavy to hold one of the orignal 'beakie' SM missile launchers- it was a bit of a fiddle as the arm and head were in completely the wrong position... He now just needs some greenstuff bedrolls & pouches adding, and some gaps filling before painting.

Hmmm, the beginning of the civil war between various Crimson Fist factions......
Haven't managed to do anything the last couple of evenings, hopefully tonight, and trying to borrow a camera for the weekend, with luck pics on monday.

Finished the greenstuff work- I also added some guitar wire cables and built a new backpack as the old one didn't fit...

I also did a little work on a few more of the gangers...
'Whitey', an ex-juve gets a hook hand after loosing all his fingers, Barek has his new meltagun and Kurt has had his new respirator added and chainsword repositioned...

Ah... the old Mk.1 Missile Launcher! Very nice! ?
Hey, I was surfing eBay last night and saw someone was selling three E-A Shadowswords. The cannon barrels look different then the E-40K version. I checked the G/W US site and the pic is of the E-40K type, but the pics of the parts look as I described.
*** Has anyone bought the E-A version? ***?
*** Is the barrel different? ***?
Well let me know, being a collector/modeller/gamer(?)... I'm interested! Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry guys, I didn't want to choose an army that other people had, but since I didn't want to paint any more ****** yellow, and my planned Iron Hands didn't work as well as I had hoped, I plucked for CF's. Don't mean to be stepping on anyone's toes.
On the other hand, they are progressing quite quickly with the painting method I am using. Got some Terminators and Hunters done today and undercoated a load of other stuff.
Cheers, Freshmetal.
