Scheltrum Miniatures have a great Victorian Sci fi tunnelling machine that looks like ti would be a fantastic proxy for the Hellbore:

Very nice stuff. ...I reckon that some of those land battleships might be turned into excellent Squat proxies with a bit of work as well

I have one somehwere on m "In progress" pile, but some people have been having trouble getting one at all. This would make a satisfactory proxy, but I agree it always nicer to have the proper version.
