Lovely stuff everyone- the lettering on those flags is superb Mojarn, very crisp and clear... Great Mechanicus chappies too WM, and Kr00za's halftrack is sweet too! ...Keep it up! I finished the terrain piece today at last, and am pretty pleased with it ....enjoy the pics!

And lastly, detail of the gunge- I was really pleased with how this turned out- I just basecoated it Goblin green, gave it a coat of Dark green ink and one of normal Green ink, along with the 'pool'.. Then while the paint & ink was still wet, I used a little camo green to make the ripples and did a few little highlights. ?
You can see how the bobbles in the foam show up here- I'd have liked them be slightly less prominent, but they aren't that bad... although two thick coats of primer will be used on future projects.

Well, the dreadnought is complete. I don't really go for the exagerrated highlights that seem to be so popular.

Quote (Mojarn Piett @ 24 2004 Aug.,07:52) | Quote (Justiniel @ 24 2004 Aug.,09:22) | Great Titan Mojarn, still don't understand why you didn't enter it. |
To put it simply: it is not good enough. It rates in the upper part of "average" category but one only needs to look at last year's entries to see that it is not competition worthy. | Well if you ever want to get rid of those "Average" titans I have space on my shelf for them.

Excellent, thanks. And, to avoid confusion, I am closing this topic, so it should now sink slowly like the Titanic at the end of the film (sorry if that spoilt the end for anyone! (Altogether now, do do dooo, do do do-da, da da da...)
