is it possible to use gw or vallejo game colors in an airbrush, or will it gum it up and be a pain? |

Airbrush manufacturers usually recommend thinning the paint with acrylic thinner before using it. It smells nearly as bad as enamel thinner but spares from the clogging effect. |

I've been using GW paints thinned down with regular water without any problems so far. Just make sure you clean the brush thoroughly after use. Cheers! ![]() |

"I've been using GW paints thinned down with regular water without any problems so far. Just make sure you clean the brush thoroughly after use." I second that. I have been using GW paint successfully for a few projects now. Just a word of caution to any new Air Brush painter.....NEVER lend your Air Brush out. Not even to a close and trusted friend ![]() They need to be thoroughly cleaned after EVERY use and it can be a real pain in the ass cleaning three month old paint out of em. ![]() |
