Hey there, I've been looking to buy Pink Insulation Foam for ages now (the stuff GW always talks about for modelling) but I can't find anywhere to buy it. Does anyone know somewhere where I can get this online, or near York, UK? Any help would be much appreciated! |

Pop into a local building supplies centre- they can usually sort you out- you might be able to get it from B&Q/Homebase too... |

Try a DIY or house-building supplies shop... Look for insulation. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

You are probably better off heading for a local builder's merchants rather than a consumer DIY chain. My "local" B&Q Warehouse only had standard expanded polystyrene insulation and not the pink stuff. |

?? I just answered about your identic post on the Playtest forum; i'd copy paste it here for possible future rferences : high density foam can be -at least- green, blue, pink and yellow. All are about the same stuff (i currently have pink, yellow and green at home). Here, you can buy the stuff in any shop for building materials. The stuff is normally used as an insulating material; so if you are searching for it, drop the "pink" and add "you know, thick polystyrene sheet for insulation". If the guy have some in stock, then he'll point you the right way. I don't think you could easily purchase some online; the stuff is available in quite large amount (60 x 120 cms in my case), it would be a bit like online ordering breeze blocks. You can usually get it in various thickness (i use 3cm for boards, up to 6cm for big reliefs). Athmos |

Yup, that's the stuff, ask for high density insulation board, or extruded, should do the trick. A lot of them also come with foil or paper backing so you'll need to see the ends to see the stuff itself |
