I've tried to cut up an old plastic Falcon and put it back together to look more like the new metal version. The result can be seen here. I'm not sure about the look though... I think something is missing from the middlesection but I don't know how to model it. Above all it has to be easy to do as i have 24 of these to be converted.
Cheers!

...The link does seem to work Primarch...
Hmmm... well, I'm not sure how you could improve the look of the model W/M... I agree it is lacking a 'certain something' right now- perhaps you could use a little greenstuff to smooth round those square corners...?

Hi!
I can see the pics now.
Too bad the archive was shut down. I can remember several good bits to place in the center of the models divide that would look very cool.

For the middle - how about a couple of probes sticking forward - asymetrically, I'd say. Just use a bit of paperclip or stiff wire (dried flower arrangement wire, I discovered, is great).

AAARRGH!!! I just realized that the cut up falcon kind of looks a bit like the new FW Hell Talon fighter!!! My Eldar is infested by Chaos! ...The Inquisition is not gonna like this...
Anyway: Thanks for the input guys. I guess I just need to get to work with the green stuff then... Or maybe I should just leave the Falcons as they are...
Cheers!
