(I posted this in the Playtesting forum, but I am kinda peeved so here I am venting again) Lame. In the US, they have stopped selling DE in stores cause of poor sales. GW Mail Order said they weren't being discontinued, but if they aren't doing so hot now, and they don't get revised so that more players like them, then I see them eventually being discontinued for some time. I remember when they revised the codex, GW said that they didn't see anything wrong with them, and that may be, but it didn't make them any popular. Such as shame. I think part of their problem is their crappy fluff. I would just rather see them as a stronger military unit with their own heavy tanks and so forth. I love DE warriors, and think a unit of them is one of the best in 40k. I guess I can see why they wouldn't really be released in Epic if they weren't going to be around much. I mean, why dedicate much attention to them in WD if no one sees them in stores. I have been saying the best thing the DE could have done for them is to get them a tank like the Falcon or even heavier, but because of the 'fluff', which I am growing to hate, they can't get it. Lamo. |

Hi! Gandalf, I think DE are on the "squat oblivion" road. Sounds vaguely familiar with what happen to squats, they stop supporting, releasing and generally acknowledging they even exsist. Only time will tell, but dont be shocked with the outsome. Primarch |

This will happen to ANYTHING that has poor sales- GW are a buisness after all. Its happened to many cool ranges over the years, squats included. At least they are available by MO and not totally OOP. |

I only can get G/W Epic by MO ... and that is what I have been doing for years !

In my view the DE would be almost like the normal Eldar... but all much more warlike. Kind of Spartan-like society. |

If they do a big clearance deal on them, I would be tempted to stock up. The figs would make good fodder for Eldar conversions. I'd love to have a raider to convert to a Venom (? - harlie transport fyper). And I think a couple of the wyche charactes would make good banshee exarch material. |

hahaha no i am really just kidding. i was bored at work and i though a random outburst would be perfect to through everyone in a loop. i guess the DE gotta go, but to be honest, they could have been a lot cooler than they were. their fluff is cheesy. |
