Hot from the uh.. inbox... ?:-:

******************************************
It's Newsletter time!

Well, it looks like show season is starting up again! We have two shows coming up soon, the first being Fantasy and Sci-Fi Partizan in Newark, UK on Sunday February 8th.
http://www.partizan.org.uk
We'll be carrying a very limited range of just the new releases at this show and putting up a display of our most recent models for you to see. If you would like us to bring something in particular for you to buy on the day, then please let us know and we'll take it with us. We can also take orders on the day. Our email address is forgeworld@games-workshop.co.uk or to contact us by phone its 0115 916 8177.

The second show is Cry Havoc at Warhammer World, GW HQ Nottingham, UK on Sunday February 29th.
http://uk.games-workshop.com/news....ion.htm
Forge World will as usual be present with a large display and sales stand.
Warhammer World events are always busy so if there is something in particular you'd like to pick up then please send us an email or give us a call to place a reservation order and we'll have it sitting waiting for you.

Now, the bit that everyone really wants to know about. What shiny things are Forge World about to release this time?

First up we have two new pieces of Warhammer Scenery. Scenery designer Simon Harris has been busily working away on some beautiful buildings for the gaming table. We have a cottage http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/cottage.htm
Suitable for games of Warhammer, Mordheim and some historical games. To go with it we also have a stable
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/stable.htm
Suitable for games of Warhammer, Mordheim and some historical games (and small nativity scenes!). Speaking personally, these are two fantastic models and I will be getting them to use on the steppes of Kislev amongst other places. I spoke to Simon earlier and he showed me his sketches for a couple more buildings, so hopefully we'll be getting some more from him in the near future.

Simon Egan (the guy who does the insane detail) has also been rather busy recently and has also given us a new piece. Simon's (we have too many Simons. There is another one in the office) contribution to this newsletter is another figure to add to his awesome range. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/dktankc.htm
A Death Corps of Krieg Tank Commander. This is a fantastically sculpted figure, the cloth of his gasmask alone is reason enough to buy this figure. I expect to see many of these in Imperial Guard tanks from now on.

Kroot players rejoice! The two much rumoured new Great Knarlocs are finally here. Daniel Cockersell has brought us two more great beasties to add to his already considerable portfolio. Bolstering the Kroot firepower on the field of battle we have a Great Knarloc mounted bolt thrower.
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/btknarloc.htm
While at first glance this would appear to be a very primitive weapon, as with most Kroot weapons, the Tau have modified it's effectiveness.
The second Knarloc release is great for diorama builders and would also make a good scenario aid.
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/bknarloc.htm
Laden with baggage this makes a perfect model for a scenario where a force is attacking a Kroot supply line or scouting force. I really like this model as the scenario ideas it gives me are endless. Although if I'm totally honest, the main reason I like this model is the prepared torso hanging from the baggage, I just need to persuade someone to sculpt me one hanging from a pole so my Kroot can carry it around with them!

Not wanting to be left out Warwick Kinrade has just sent me an email. Following on from the feedback received, he has tweaked and altered the rules for the Tau Orca and the Tau Gun Turrets. Version 2 of these rules can be downloaded from our website by following this link.
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/downloads40k.htm

All our sculptors are busy working away on their various projects and we should have plenty more to show you next newsletter. For example we should have pics of an Epic Orca and a Skyray, more Space Marine Symbols and a Chaos fighter-bomber.
We don't have anything on these yet though so please don't ask us!

The Krieg Tank Commander, the Warhammer Cottage and the Stable are available to pre-order now. The two Great Knarlocs should be available to pre-order soon.
We've also updated some of the pictures for our new releases. These pictures can be looked at by following the link next to the item on our online store. To place a pre-order for our new items and to have a look at the new pictures, just
follow this link. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalo....11.html

Well, that's it for another Newsletter,
Until next time

Just got it too !  The mention of the Epic Tau Skyray and Orca are very interesting !  And the Kroot Knarloc ... hope we see more in Epic scale !   And the Krieg T/C is very nice ... an infusion of WWI/II, German & Russian plus a little bit of Orwellian nightmare thrown in !    I like it !  :D

Hi!

Good thing they are "rounding off" the tau line.

Now if they'd make a necron one I'd be happy.

Hi!

What type of vehicles do those new Tau vehicles represent? Fliers? Transports?

The Orca is a dropship & the skyray is an AA version of the Hammerhead. Both have FW kits available for 40K scale.
