Hello there!
First of all, I just returned from the bar where I went into a tequila shot competition (I lost by a mere tequila shot in the end, damn) so forgive my mistakes here.lol
Well, I am buolding a devasttion ship variant in a month. THe idea is that I want to make a ship that can be usd as a devastation but it is not a devastation per se. The thing i that I want a shiop with side WB and alnces and prow launch bays. Now, I want to be able to use the model even if myopponent doesn't agree with me using a home made design.
To do so I have planned (and been suggested) to do the following configuration:
1) I will make the ship smaller, so only one stak of weapons per side. NOw I will mount a chaos WB stack for the WB and under it a lance imperial weapons stack a la vengeance. I will cut the ship to do so as well, making it shorter.
2) I will keep the prow WB just in case I have o use it as a devastation (in background the WBs are coordinated and so only one of nthe 3 directions can be shot at -wrong grammar I know-).
3) NOw, I am planning to build the launch bays under the prow, maybe a little bit towards the sides so they look like they are in the prow but can be justified as being "side" launch bays if needed.
Any ideas on how to make the launch bay look good?
Cheers,
Xavi

To create those prow launch bays i would do this
Turn your model upside down you see underneath the prow it has the main bit with the the 3 like legs coming off it starting large then going up towards the prow getting smaller
I would take out the middle set with a file or something
Then you know the chaos launxh bays are like a triangle with one part shorter than the other i would cout off the short side and stick it in the gap you just made in the prow
and you have a prow launch bay
