What ever happened to these? Endeavour Light Cruisers. I know they had problems casting and went back to re-design it, but does anyone know when it may be coming out?

It was a good idea as well.

Cheers

Chris

I think that due to the casting problems that they had (warping etc), they are having to re-design the model to minimise these problems, starting completly from scratch....

-Which means we won't see it for ages!! ..... :( ...

I hope one does emerge sometime soon, but they seem to have faded in our memories, what with new Tau ships, Ork battleships etc....

When they came out I seriously wanted some, but then they went to be re-made. Oh well. Thinking about that, has anyone seen the pic of one on the front cover of BFG 14? I know its only a drawing, but the prow seems much longer than the pics of the models back in BFG 12. Could this be the future?

Just my thoughts

Cheers

Chris

I was also looking forward to getting my hands on these minis aswell. It sucks that we will proberly have to wait at least another year before they come back (if ever :O )

I heard that they were going right back to design on the Endeavours - which means a long time before we see them, and they will look completely different!

What I do not understand, bearing in mind that I am not a figure desginer, or have substantial knowledge of the casting process, is that if the warping was due to the relatively thin spine, why it was not produced as a 2 part casting with a front and rear section.

A pity that the model is on hold since I could have used a few in my fleet...
