As some of you know, I'm scratchbuilding a BFG imperials fleet. I'm now working on a black ship. Now as the black ship is an inquisitorial vessel, it is filled with inquisitorial signs (ok, there are 3-5, but still). Now how do I go about making a number of these things? I don't have any money at all now (damn, that army deal was expensive), so I either have to use decals, of which I have enough, but it just doesn't feel right. Or, I could make some kind of relief. Anybody have any good ideas to make these easily? Frecus The glade wanderer Madwarrior |

You could try to carve a "negative" in a piece of plastic of sorts and then use it to "stamp" in into some modelling putty. It is a bit tricky but with a relatively simple symbol like the Inquisitorial "I" I think it should eb doable (is that a word?). Cheers! ![]() |

Aye, it's either that or making a mould out of greenstuff then pressing another piece of GS in when it's well dry. |

Yep, the GS mold method (the unmentionable method, if you're over on B&C). |

I couldn't find a suitable piece of =][= sign, so I greenstuffed a couple myself. They're not of high quality, but neither is the fleet (as 80% of the ship is GW sprue, the rest is scrap plastic & GS). Frecus The glade wanderer Madwarrior |
