Post subject:  Chaos Space City
This model was inspired by the new forgeworld Tau Air Caste Orbital habitat.
Wanted to make a chaos verson of this model.
Its mainly made up of bitz from three chaos cruisers.
The top section is made from two BFG bases " one big one small"
One cool aspect of this model is the top rotates freely thanx to a bit I sourced from an old PC hard-drive.
The main build is finished, still have to add alot more detail but I thought Id post some pics.
Pics of the finished model will follow shortly... I hope :p

Nice, looks pretty big.. and very spikey! -Are you going to use the normal space station rules for it, or come up with some of your own?
Can't wait to see it painted!  :)

Not sure about rules for this piece.
To be honest Ive never played a single game of BFG :p
Im building up my fleet at the moment and planning to buy the BGF box game once Ive finished the modeling.
So far my fleet consist of

1 Despoiler "My fleets FlagShip"
2 Repulsive Grand Cruisers "Some told me u can only have one per fleet but hey its good to have a spare :;): "
1 Desorlator " Unfinished model, has been lengthened using parts from a Repulsive Grand Cruiser, will post pics soon.
Then I have my novality ships, a PlanetKiller and a BlackStone.
I did have 6 chaos crusiers but these have all been cut up and use in my convertions, so Ill have to save up and buy some more :D
I want my fleet to be completely made up of converted models, all carrying the same trademake spikes and skulls with a reddish Beaten Copper color sceem :)

Finished the build on this model now.
So Ive added some pics of the completed model.
Ill be using this model as the Chaos equivlant to the Ramilies Class Starfort as it rivals it both in size and firepower.
Ive placed a Chaos Grand Cruiser in the picture so you can see how large this model is.
The domed top is made from a crab-like Zoid toy I picked up whilst Xmas shopping, looks a lot better than the first top section I made "which can be seen in the Unfinished Pic"
