Contempter looks awesome, i feel like the stock GW base doesnt do it justice though. The edge should be a dark color different from the grass aswell. The miniature itself is very nice. Blind- |

Yeah, I always find bases a bit of a conundrum. As a display piece they look good with lots on and a different colour rim, but I like the base to disappear on the gaming table. It was quite a wrench for me to swap the base for one I scrounged at games day instead of the plain one because I have an issue with a rock following my unit around the battle field. All my daemons have mush darker green rims, which show of the miniature better, but look odd on the table. Maybe I should magnetise and have a display stand and a gaming base ;-) |
