Hi all,

I thought i would share a few pics of some 15mm WW2 stuff i recently did for BKCII. Does anyone else here play BKCII in 15mm? I have pretty much abandoned FOW and switched to BKC, but i still use mt Flames of war armies.

Anyway, some command stands.

There are more pics of the stuff ive been doing here - http://yorkie.6sided.net/

BKCII is a great game for those who havent tried it, if you have a FOW army, you can use your minis as is, no rebasing is required, i did, but you dont have to. Im also at the planning stage of a new Epic army, that ill use with the FWC (future war commander) rules, i hope to have an update soon.

Cheers
Steve.

really nice figs as always Yorkie. I play BKC, but I do so in 6mm rather than 15mm. the Plastic Soldier Company figures are drawing me back to 15mm, but I am stoutly resisting (thus far...)

Thanks,

Heres a small force, only 1000pts that i used for a test game not so long ago,

Soviet.

BKC is a great game, to be honest i think it plays very well in 15mm, but i still prefer 6mm.

Very Nice...

Have you taken a look at Test of Battle's Command Decision?

... the above link, btw, is an interesting grognard's review of Flames of War.

Ive looked at command decision before and used to be a big Flames of War player, id play it at least 2 times a week for about 2 years. I think ive found everything i want from a wargame with Blizkrieg commander, now in its second edition, i cant recommend it enough, or its sci/fi variant, Future war commander.

I had a read of that link and i pretty much agree with everything the author said, FOW IS a fun game and certainly doesnt deserve all the stick it seems to get, especially over on the miniatures page. I just prefer BKC, but still use my FOW armies!

Cheers
Steve

Im absolutely gutted that these minis are in storage back in the UK, and i probably wont see them again for about 2 years....BUMMER.

Those are pretty damned good. I really like the camo pattern on the Germans. Did you use an airbrush?

Very, very nice.
I too play BKC, but again, in 6mm
The quality of 15mm (and my failing eye sight) are tempting me in that direction though.

No airbrush?? You're insane!

But I respect that. Nice paint no matter how it was done.

Looks great, Yorkie!

Can I ask why you prefer 6mm instead of 15mm for this? Is it just your preferred scale, how it looks on the table, cost, or something else?
