saw a mini kit in a toyshop yesterday - about 80 cents

Completey got the scale wrong from the picture on the box - though it'd make a good ork battlewagon:

good source of medium quality bits if nothing else.

As you say, looks like they would be good for bits. At that price you cant go wrong.

I picked up the other two types they had in the shop - not so impressive.

But it turns out they're modular. get five and build a bigger robot, ten an even bigger one and so on.
