...and here's Cylena Raefyll & the Nyss hunters. Again I couldn't use quickshade as the buggers are mostly black. These are probably the best figures I've ever painted, which obviously isn't saying very much. :-[

EDIT: sorry 'bout the pic quality. It seems my tabletop light is a tad too bright.

Oh, and the figures are Warmachine mercenaries.

WFB minis have been eating up my free time lately. Mostly as an exercise to increase my skill with oils, basing, & photos.

Here's a PIP. All undead need some kind of glowy eyes, so I'm thinking pink instead of the usual blue & green that pops up in many VC armies. ;D

Finally got Reinholdt. I undercoated him along with 10 Steelhead halbediers. Pics will be forthcoming the second I have something to show (i.e. have painted Reinholdt). This is going to be a good year armywise.

Well, as it happens I did NOT paint Reinholdt, but a Vanguard. Reason for that is Reinholdt has no place in my 25pt army as I have to remove 1 point to cram in a full group of 10 Steelhead halberdiers and a Vanguard. Now I'll just have to paint 10 steelheads in one day to get 'em ready for Friday's game...

Well I made my 6mm FUBAR settlement and called it Anvil Gate.
I have played one game with it which involved lots of military types converging on this civilian settlement and causing havoc.

AAR of that game here:

http://6mmfubar.blogspot.com/2011/10/chapter-two.html

Since then the civilians there have upgraded their home.
They have added two reinforced doors in the form of trucks with armoured plates welded on them.
They have purchased some body armour and assault rifles.

AND they have even made a sign!

These are the trucks; the basic models are from Brigade Models.
The doors and supports and bits and bobs are scratch built from bits of tat in true Anvil Gate fashion.

Oh, I have painted some more civilians too.

And here it is:

Anvil Gate, the settlement that grows between games!

Coming up next, my own range of 6mm alien wildlife.

Finally got round to painting some more additions to my Blood Bowl team.

Image
I'll use the big guy as Morg (or a similar Star Payer). He's from Heresy.
The werewolf guy will replace the smaller Ulfwerner model I was using before. This mini is from Mest Wind Productions.
The other 2 players will be Journeymen (as I seem to need them in just about every game... ).

Cheers,
Steve.

I like the banding down the legs, breaks up the red very nicely
