I started painting some BFG ships and thought I share the pictures for useful comments and critics.

First group of ships:

Some told me thet looks too much like a Khorne related fleet.

Perhaps some imperial troops slidinG slowly towards chaos?

Renegades!
Cool.
Late for GothiComp, but alas, there is always next year. :)

Very nice! Similar to the paint scheme I came up with for my own IN vessels:

I like yours better though, the additional red towards the rear of the vessel helps break it up cleaner.

I will upload the other pictures this afternoon. The battleship has MUCH more red than the frigates. I just have to find my card reader.

UPDATE: here is the battleship

Mars fleet.
They go by the Adeptus Mechanicus scheme and you executed it pretty good.

Some salvaged pieces, parts of a casette and a straw = upside down cruiser now becomes e.g. a rogue trader ship or whatever I want to use it for.

Have no spare weapons, so no hitting power added.

Looks kinda cool.
Tips: remove the fin (behind the bridge).
Sand the prow (underside).

Painted a Battlecruiser from Starcraft: the boardgame.

Could be used as a merchant ship or anything.

The fin I can not remove any more. Glued there pretty solid. I will streamline the prow and then see where it goes.

I was painting while lurking here and here is the result.

I switched to a much faster painting style to be ready in this century.

Still ongoing, so these are WIP stage
