Hey guys, I don't usually peruse this area of TacComm, but I did some work for a friend of mine recently and I'd though I'd share it with you. Said friend wanted a conversion to represent the lance-bearing varient of the SM battlebarge. I think the rules originally gave it 6 lances on each side, but he and I agreed to just show three turrets per side, and just claim they were 'double-lances' or whatever. Anyway, the part I drew up (and am having printed at a surprisingly low price) is a simple swap for the weapon battery bits that run along the neck of the battle barge. looks good, i really liked the idea of the ultramarines 'lance-barge' and would love to see a kit make its way table side... |

Tell your friend the BFG 'fluff' squad hate that ship. The Sedititio Opprimere.... Ultramarine ship. Unofficial. Even the rules committee said they wished that ship never seen the light of day. They deny its existence. Marines should not have lances. The ship was designed to destroy Nids. The noodless: weapon batteries are better against Nids then Lances.  But, all in all, show us a finished ship and do not call its name and never mention it on port maw. |

I know the reputation the ship has, and so does my friend. The thing is, my friend is a 'completist' and I owed him one (way more than that, actually) so I thought I use my abilities to help him out. As it is, though, I think it can at least be the basis for a more reasonable varient, SMs with lances aside. |

*arise* The Seditio will become official. Although lances have been replaced with shorter ranged bombardment cannons. We approve. |

Some aquatic mammal may have cast these in resin. I really don't know for sure. |
