Hi! My name is Spoing, and I'm a lurker.   In an attempt to get out of this horrible, generally unhygienic state, I present some of the stuff I've been building for BFG, as I've recently started doing some conversions for BFG due to a renewed interest in the specialist games stuff, and the free time to waste! First up is an Orky Battlekroozer, built to make a model that looks like it has been rebuilt from an Imperial hull, which I feel is lacking in the current model range. unpainted http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... C00019.jpg first few licks of paint before brain failure, and lack of inspiration. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... 290040.jpg Beginnings of a similar project, but with a more 'ulky vibe  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... 030038.jpg Some space going gribbly monsters are next. testing out ideas for escorts (got to use up all those spare nid bits!) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... 290014.jpg Then some cruisers. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... 290007.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... 290011.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... 030030.jpg And one picture of some dark eldar ideas I've been playing with, since I loathe the existing Dark Eldar ships, but my brother likes DE. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v660/ ... 030013.jpg |

Yeah, these are great. How did you sculpt the tentacles so well? |

Quote: (Warhead @ 30 Dec. 2008, 15:43 ) Yeah, these are great. How did you sculpt the tentacles so well? Its actually pretty easy to make tentacles, I have (or had) a vast surplus due to rolling out left over green stuff and miliput from other projects.  Helps to keep it wet as well. |

Did you have to use any wire inserts? I'm new to the whole idea of using Green stuff and I've only used Miliput on bases to fill holes or to make some simple emplacements. |
