These tables are great and look like they would be real fun to play on.

I know it is in French, but the game will rise above the language difference. Trust me!  :;):

WTF?!

Is it some sort of mech game being played BTW? Heroclix?

This game use "pre painted" minis. Yeah, like heroclix.
I don't like it: There is some mold line, it's more expensive than normal mini, not to mention you've got no choice in the colors.
But there is some cool table there.

The game is called AT-43. One of the four factions available at this point is based on large Ape like beings.

>> There is some mold line,

While a few of the minis do show lines, I do not think these are any worse them many of the painted metal I have seen on the table in local games.

>> it's more expensive than normal mini,

This is just not true. Let’s look at some costs:

Games Workshop Marine Dreadnaught: $40
AT-43 Fire Toad with Terrain Container: $24
Cygnar Ironclad: $27.99

Games Workshop Hero Figure (Space Marine Commander): $15
AT-43 Hero (Sgt. Borz): $8
Cygnar Captain Victoria Haley: $7.99

Games Workshop Space Marines (10 in Box): $35 (3.50 each)
AT-43 Steel Troopers (6 per box): $20 ($3.34 each)
Cygnar Trenchers Unit Box (6 per box): $29.99 ($4.99 each)

>>not to mention you've got no choice in the colors.

Again not true. All three of the games I used above come in one color. At-43 just happens to come pre-painted in one color scheme and the others come in metallic silver. Then if you wish, you paint them any way you wish. Many of the AT-43 folks do repaint. I don’t because they are good enough for me.

>>But there is some cool table there.

Now this I agree with 100%. They are very nice and would work for almost any 28mm game.
