Hi all, over the past weeks I'd been taking part in the Lead Adventures Painters' League organised over at the Lead Adventures Forum (another very nice bunch of chaps). Now that it's over I can show my entries for the ten weeks. The idea is to paint a unit/squad/whatever of 5+ models every week for ten weeks, over the course of which you are paired off in heats against other painters. Some of these chaps are REAL pro painters, so it's a good job you get bonus points if you enter a new group of models each week - that saved me from being at the bottom of the table! Good fun, the banter is good, and I managed to complete around 90 models - not bad at all, especially for me! This proves I can paint an army in 3 months..... Here's week 1 - Skinks |

30 undead - can you spot the apple? |

Well, no, you cannot see the apple. This 150kb size limit is not working with panoramic views. Ah well. Week 5: an Inquisitive lot. |

Last but not least - the world's first Magnetoplan. Total of 94 models, including some biggish stuff (the sub and train, and the Magnetoplan). Much more than I usually manage to complete. ![]() If anyone wants to see larger pics I can probably do better, just ask. |
