Although I'm still inundated with work, I managed to squeeze in time for the launch of a couple of new old projects in 28m scale: VSFF around Venice - Victorian Science Fiction Fantasy using a wide range of models, in a skirmishy war in the countryside around Venice. Based on Mordheim/LOTR/Rackham/Legends of the West and come what may rules, if I ever get around to playing it. A 28mm demi-fistorical Ostrogoth army - my first historical army project. 'Demi' because it's Hollywood history, meaning I won;t be too fussy and pedantic over the PRECISE type of helmet used, as long as the models are more or less right. I might be tempted to add elephants at some stage, though. This is another recurrence of my Venic/Mediterranean phases, and will include a few Byzantines and Berbers in the mix. Of interest to me is that the Ostrogoth here - er, I mean Ostrogoths got ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyway - for the VSFF project - one of the despised rubbery clicky models, upgraded. Ntt too happy with the flame yet, though... |
