That's a lot! Was it hard to paint all those tiny things?

Cool. A couple of questions:
What are the assault boats based on?
Can the Blackstone be assembled in a 'cross' or 'chaos star'? I think that I prefer the cross pattern that you have, but I have not seen one in this way before.
Is the pyramid in the centre of the Blackstone part of the kit, or your conversion?
Excellent.

Grand, Chaplain I like the way the pyramid turned out, and the swarms of 'smalls' are great. How long does it take to recover your eyesight after doing all those? Or is it irreversible? CS, the Blackstone can be assembled either way. And I think the pyramid is standard - but I can't remember, and am too laz - er, worn out from work to look it up.

The tiny ordnance ships were very quick to paint, just dry-brushed, a few dabs of detail, and a wash. Half the time I painted my fingers more than the ships though due to watching the Babylon 5 series on DVD while painting!
The Dreadclaws are based on smaller GW square (non-slotted) bases. I belive they came from a WHFB regiment of zombies (zombies were used in terrain).

I think i've seen more pyramid constructed Blackstones rather than star. It will be a wonder if it ever gets used for anything more than terrain or an objective. Yes, the central pyramid is part of the model, I just painted in a contrasting color.
