Yep, 2 new versions of the AI Imperial Bommbers. And a Malcador with Las-cannon !  Redram, looks like you got some more Malcadors to make !  :D

The defensive armament on both appears to be 2x twin heavy bolter turrets.



However, whilst the colossus carries only one bomb:


The Vigilant is a command and control variant (I'm assuming AWACS):




The Colossus strikes me as having the most fun rules for Epic conversion.

12BP, ignores cover, macro weapon, one shot silly enough? :D

You could possibly also add to that- replace one terrain feature of 10 x 10 cm in size with Rubble :)

Or a MOAB, D/S ! :laugh:  Looks like I'll be ordering all the new AI Airfield Terrain and the 2 new Bombers next month ! :D  But I can see what you mean O-man, they are not really very different from the other bomber Versions, but I'll deal with it ! :)

Don't get me wrong. I'm really into the new airfield stuff and will be getting that. But minor variations just on the bottom? Come on!

That's F/W for ya ! They love making 3-4 versions of the same thing !  Look at L/Russes, Shadowswords, etc., etc. ... They are nothing if not predictable ... :;):
