Nice looking marines there.  Be sure to get a Conversion Beamer ready!  I hear they will be back in the new codex and are just as nasty as ever.

This young lass (and teacher training) is why I haven't worked on any epic recently.

Wow !
Olly, your black reach marines are impressive.
ragnarok: This big pink titan will make the opponent cry when it will be finished. Both by it's look and the rules.
Justiniel: impressive painting again.
Chaplain Leviticus: nice rats. I wanted to start fow too, but I need some time/room/money and still have tons of 40k/epic/bfg/battle stuff to work on so maybe in a few years.
Firestorm: the magnetised weapons are a nice idea, and the berserkers poses are great !
And Widgren, the air base and the defense laser are my fav.

Right now, got some serious work too:

Time to build a whole modular table !

Thanks Napalm.  I vbelieve that if my opponent runs away screaming "My eyes" it still counts as a victory.

Olly, how did you do the mud effect on the marines legs?

Cheers, the mud is simply the same drybrush as the base getting lighter towards the bottom and edges. I used scorched brown, graveyard earth, desert yellow, komando Khaki and then bleached bone, hope that helps!

I have just finished up a Tau army.

This army was originally started by Warrgh:

http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/index.p ... 1076&st=80

Now it has reached apocalyptic proportions after a week off work recently working on it and a couple of weekends preparing for apocalypse games.

The last unit I have done for it is my budget sting wings.  I won a box of lizard-men in a raffle at some point so I drilled holes in the shoulders added wires as the top of the wings, then greenstuffed the wings on.

I am reasonably happy with them for the amount of effort involved.

See Warrgh's army diary for more detailed shots.  I speed painted everything to roughly match the bits he painted so the bit done by Warrgh is the best looking bit but the rest fits in ok.
